2005 wasn't that bad, if you don't count the part where my heart was ripped in half :)
Check out the ARCHIVE! I try to limit these posts to my actual artwork, but sometimes I'm presented with a cute picture of my niece and nephew that I'm morally obligated to share with my 9 followers.
All works(both graphic and audio) by Jack Bevacqua, unless noted otherwise.
Please hire me.
About Me /
“When We Were Kings” 2010 pen and ink on paper, digital.
Things go from bad to worse for the once great rock and roll band “Ron Jeremy for President”. After the success of their debut album All My Friends are Prescribed, they failed to complete their follow-up record. Dropped by their label, the band has faded away into a cloud of ping pong, drugs, folk music, cigarettes, and pornstaches.
This image is an attempt to capture a playful time in my life that probably won’t ever be revisited. If you can’t figure out what’s going on in this illustration, you’re not doing the right drugs, or not doing enough.
I’d rather be lonely, I’d rather be free
I’m as sure as the moon rolls around the sea
But I like watching you undress
And I think we’re at our best
By the flicker by the light of the TV set
Cause I can’t remember why I hated you
Can’t remember why I still do
But I’m as sure as the moon rolls around you
That I could be happy, happy
Oh, so happy, happy
Oh, so happy, so happy
They warn you about killers and thieves in night
I worry about cancer and living right
But my mama never warned me about my own
Destructive appetite
Or the pitfalls of control
How it locks you in your grave
Looking for someone to be saved and … restrained (?)
So I could be happy, happy
Oh so happy, happy
Oh so happy, happy
So happy, so happy
I’m as sure as the moon rolls around
